Tow Dtum is a forest retreat in a very remote corner of the country, near the Burmese border. It takes four hours of serious off-road driving just to get there. The area is one of the few remaining large patches of primeval rain-forest, complete with elephants, tigers and lots and lots of leeches. Tom Stokely and I got a chance to visit for ten days soon after our arrival in Thailand. |
